Off the Beaten Track (Longe da Estrada), with original music by Peter Knight selected for São Paulo International Film Festival. Directed by Hugo Vieira Da Silva. Off the Beaten Track is about French artist, Paul Gaugin, in Tahiti through the perspective of poet Victor Segalen.

New release: Now We Are Branches and Leaves on 12K

Now We Are Branches And Leaves, out now on the iconic New York label 12K, is a longform work clocking in at an hour’s length. It is a meditative study of repeating piano motifs that ground the piece, and ethereal trumpet and electronic subtleties providing tangential traces.

Peter Knight appointed to Banff Centre faculty 'Soundweavings' residency

I have been appointed to Banff Centre for the Arts faculty for ‘Soundweavings’ intercultural music residency program April 27 to May 10 2025.

It’s going to be an incredible two weeks in an absolutely stunning environment. The Banff Centre has provided me with some of the most transformative experiences of my life as both student and resident artist, and I’m so glad to have to opportunity to give back through helping shape this program with incredible musicians from around the world.
